Meet Kokil, Secretary-General for GlobalVoices 2026. Having been involved in MUN since Year 7, Kokil brings extensive conference experience and a strong belief in MUN’s ability to build confidence and help delegates find their voice. As Secretary-General, she will play a central role in shaping the academic direction of the conference, supporting the Secretariat, and helping bring this year’s theme, Diplomacy: Past, Present, and Future, to life.
At GlobalVoices 2026, delegates in the UK Parliament committee will step into Westminster to tackle two urgent debates at the heart of British politics: the future of public spending and the national debt, and the impact of artificial intelligence on creativity, copyright, and livelihoods.

In this post, they introduce their role in supporting delegates, schools and local partners, share plans for the upcoming delegate essay competition on “Diplomacy: Past, Present and Future”, and explain how they hope to create a welcoming, connected and academically enriching conference experience.
At GlobalVoices 2026, delegates in ASEAN will explore some of Southeast Asia’s most pressing regional challenges, from unequal access to clean water to the rise of transnational cybercrime. As the bloc navigates development gaps, environmental pressures, political instability, and intensifying US-China competition, delegates will consider whether ASEAN can preserve regional cooperation and unity in an increasingly uncertain geopolitical landscape.
