Step inside UNICEF at GlobalVoices 2026, where delegates will explore what it means to protect childhood in a rapidly changing world. From preventing the recruitment of children in armed conflict to safeguarding young people from emerging risks posed by AI, the committee will challenge delegates to turn children’s rights into practical international action.
We returned to Chongqing for the second year of the OGMUN–Chongqing No.8 Secondary School Model United Nations Leadership Academy and Conference. From workshops and committee debate to cultural exchange, expert speakers, and exploring Chongqing and Chengdu, the week gave delegates the chance to build confidence, strengthen their MUN skills, and engage with new ideas.

As technology, climate pressure, and shifting geopolitics reshape the international order, delegates must respond to uncertainty, disruption, and the question of what diplomacy looks like in a future still taking shape.
From rising seas threatening Pacific Island States to the growing debate over net zero and absolute zero, COP31 places delegates at the centre of global climate diplomacy. This committee challenges delegates to move beyond promises and targets, asking what meaningful climate action should look like when the stakes are measured in land, livelihoods, sovereignty, and the future of the planet.
Meet Kokil, Secretary-General for GlobalVoices 2026. Having been involved in MUN since Year 7, Kokil brings extensive conference experience and a strong belief in MUN’s ability to build confidence and help delegates find their voice. As Secretary-General, she will play a central role in shaping the academic direction of the conference, supporting the Secretariat, and helping bring this year’s theme, Diplomacy: Past, Present, and Future, to life.
