Hello everyone! We are Kiyan and Oskar, and we are the Under-Secretary-Generals for Delegates. In our roles, we are responsible for the delegate-side of the conference, which includes selecting committee and keynote speakers, organising the conference’s entertainment, and running the OG newspaper. We’re excited to put together a conference that is as fun and engaging as possible, where we hope it will be an experience where you will make great memories with fellow delegates.
As former delegates ourselves, we know what it is like to participate in conferences across the world, and we will draw on these experiences to make this conference the best it can be. We’ve also both worked together on Oxford Global conferences before, being part of the same WHO committee in the 2025 conference! We’re especially looking forward to the delegate socials, which we have planned for you, where we hope you will enjoy the playlist we’ve put together. Good luck with all of your preparations – we are excited to see you in Oxford this coming autumn!
Kiyan
Hi! I’m Kiyan, a first-year undergraduate student at Brasenose College studying History. My favorite periods to study are Medieval and Early Modern History and I am currently studying the Mongol Empire. My MUN journey began in high school, where I attended conferences across the UK and led my school’s society before joining Oxford Global.
Since then, I’ve co-chaired the WHO committee at Home Conference 2025 and served on the Secretariat as USG for Logistics for the Novice Nations Conference in February 2026. I’m excited to continue that journey at Home Conference 2026 as USG for Delegates and to travel internationally with OG to Beijing this August.
Outside of MUN, I love travelling and experiencing global cultures as much as I can. Recent trips include backpacking New Zealand this Easter vacation, Australia and Indonesia last summer, with Brazil, Peru and Southeast Asia coming up this summer.
Oskar
Hey! I’m Oskar, a first-year Philosophy, Politics, and Economics student at Pembroke College. I began MUN in high school, where I attended conferences across the UK as a delegate. Later on, I began chairing committees and led my high school’s home conference, West London MUN.
After coming to Oxford, I volunteered as logistics support for Oxford Global’s GlobalVoices 2025 and Novice Nations 2026. I’m excited to join as a USG for Delegates, where I hope to put together a memorable experience for all delegates! This year, I will also be travelling with Oxford Global to Shanghai and Pune, which I’m looking forward to!
Outside of MUN, you can find me “practising” the cello, running (with a good playlist on), or spending way too much time writing a student newspaper article.
